We complain so often that we forget about the little things that make life worth living. Whether it be a hot cup of coffee in the morning or a little bit of sunshine, some things really hit the spot. Instead of taking them for granted, we should appreciate them more. After all, life would be a lot brighter if we just changed our perspective a little. In an AskWomen thread, women shared things that make them smile no matter what. Let's just say animals and babies came up a lot in this thread.

    Font - Subbend · 2d 3 I live fairly close to my job and my partner works from home. After work, he walks towards my work and I walk towards home and we meet halfway in the middle. It doesn't matter how many times we do this, I always smile like a fool when I see him coming my way :) I never grow tired of it.

Whenever I'm having a bad day, everyone else can automatically tell because we're all pretty close.     Font - mouseg1rl · 1d i have a picture of my grandma i really like to look at. she died in 2017, but i think about her all the time. the photo is from her wedding in 1948. she had a simple and minimalist wedding (very uncommon in our culture but even more so in that time)... it makes me think of just all the stories she told me growing up about her life and all the stories i haven't heard. i just imagine them now.

    Font - bagel_07 · 19h I live in an apartment complex with a man-made lake that I have a great view of with my balcony overlooking it. In the summer, the geese and ducks start hatching lots of babies. I see them all the time, but what makes me smile the biggest is when I'm in my apartment working or watching TV, I can hear when they walk by and chirp in a little group behind their mom. It's the sweetest, cutest sound in the world.
